Overall rating 4.5/5The Volkswagen Tiguan made its debut in 2007, just as the market started welcoming compact SUVs. But it was the second-generation Tiguan in 2016 that really tasted success, soon becoming a favourite in this segment.
What it offers is a combination of space, practicality and efficiency in a tall SUV platform with commanding driving position that never comes across as intimidating for buyers. Plus, you get all the Volkswagen traits such as the understated styling, a classy cabin which is also hard wearing and well put together and driving dynamics that manages to strike a good balance between being sporty and comfortable. It is no surprise that Volkswagen has sold over six million units of the Tiguan. It’s one of those cars that work out of the box, and fits into your life effortlessly, even as a used buy!
